Upon arrival the vet will explain the process to you so you know what to expect and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions. Your pet will be sedated initially to ensure the most pain free and gentle passing without distress. You and your family are welcome to be present during the procedure if you wish, but we understand if you would rather not. After the euthanasia Most people choose to have their beloved pet cremated, but you can choose to bury your pet in a dedicated pet cemetery or your garden (subject to legislation). Animals at Home offer an individual pet cremation service, and we can attend along with the vet to take away your pet to be cremated according to your wishes.
